This is my new/old Boss BX-800 8 channel stereo mixing board. I have been interested in old school electronic instruments and equipment for years and at this point have a nice collection. I find this mixing board aesthetically interesting with it’s bright multi-color knobs and dark gray surface. Created in 1984 the mixer will let your control the Gain, Treble, Bass, Effect, Panpot and Volume of each of the 8 channels. An over load light warns of clipping at the top of each channel and a meter is provided to help monitor the level of the sound. Input and output lines are connected through 1/4” jacks. A separate 1/4” headphone jack is provided with it’s own volume control. Power is provided through a 3 prong plug (in the States) and is controlled by an ON/OFF switch on the back of the unit. See the owners manual here.
