I realized the images I’ve been posting on my blog from my new Pixel Art / Glitch Art series called Boomglitch, were not a good representation of the images. Each image is big about 2 feet by 4 feet. This makes the pixels easier to see and reveals the “noise” that breaks up each pixel into smaller pixels. The “noise” layer is a visual representation of a Rap song from the appropriate year the boombox was released. To do this I turn an MP3 of the song into a RAW file. This allows me to open the image in Photoshop for manipulation. Click on the close-up image above to see the actual size.
